The Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation between the occupiers, where a Russian commander issues a criminal order to kill a captive Ukrainian Defence Forces warrior. It is reported that this war criminal serves in the 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 5th Army of the Russian Armed Forces.
An audio recording from January 6 was released by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. It captures how a commander from one of the units of the 60th brigade of the occupiers orders a subordinate to conduct an interview with the captive and then kill him.

"I understood they also took a prisoner with them. How will we carry out the task tomorrow? I’ll try to bring in groups from the west and east," one of the ordinary Russian invaders asked the commander.
"Bring forward your inept members... Have a personal conversation with this Uk**pe and eliminate him," ordered the commander.
The DIU stated that this conversation is yet another proof of the systematic violation of international humanitarian law by the Russian occupying army.
"Waging a criminal war, the Russian army does not shy away from committing the most heinous and vile crimes," the intelligence stated, assuring that there will be just retribution for every war crime against the Ukrainian people.
