Displaced persons will be able to receive rental subsidies from January 29


Starting from January 29, internally displaced persons will be able to receive subsidies for rental housing.

The Cabinet of Ministers reported that assistance will be provided in several cases, including:

IDPs who have moved to regions controlled by Ukraine and do not own housing exceeding 13.65 m² per family member; Families whose housing has been destroyed or damaged and become uninhabitable; Those who spend more than 20% of their income on rent; IDPs who do not receive living assistance; Individuals not participating in the "Shelter" program; Families with an income less than 2 minimum living wages (up to 5840 UAH per person) will be eligible for a larger subsidy amount.

The subsidy will be calculated individually, valid for six months with the possibility of extension. A rental agreement will be required to apply.
