Starting from January 29, internally displaced persons will be able to receive subsidies for rental housing.
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that assistance will be provided in several cases, including:
IDPs who have moved to regions controlled by Ukraine and do not own housing exceeding 13.65 m² per family member; Families whose housing has been destroyed or damaged and become uninhabitable; Those who spend more than 20% of their income on rent; IDPs who do not receive living assistance; Individuals not participating in the "Shelter" program; Families with an income less than 2 minimum living wages (up to 5840 UAH per person) will be eligible for a larger subsidy amount.The subsidy will be calculated individually, valid for six months with the possibility of extension. A rental agreement will be required to apply.
