As a result of a Russian attack on Kyiv, four people were killed


On the night of Saturday, January 18, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and strike drones. As a result of the shelling, four people were killed.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko and the mayor Vitaliy Klychko.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the attack caused a fire in a non-residential building. In addition, in one of the entrances of a residential building, the blast wave blew out windows, and smoke was reported. Glass elements were damaged at the entrance to the Lukianivska metro station. Currently, the entrance to the station is closed. Also, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a water supply pipeline was damaged due to the Russian shelling.

According to the information from the State Emergency Service, ten cars were damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district, and rescuers extinguished fires in three cars.

"There is also partial destruction of an administrative building, a business center, and a store. A fire was found in one of the buildings, which has already been localized," the State Emergency Service reported.

According to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, four people were killed due to the Russian shelling of Kyiv. The State Emergency Service added that three more Kyiv residents were injured. Additionally, the fall of debris from downed Russian missiles and drones was recorded in two other districts: Holosiivskyi and Desnianskyi.
