KRMA reported on the consequences of the Russian attack on the Kyiv region

On the night of January 21-22, Russia launched an attack on the Kyiv region using kamikaze drones. The region’s air defense forces operated effectively, but unfortunately, debris from the downed objects damaged houses and a power line.

This was reported by the Acting Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk. Residents of the region were urged not to ignore air raid alerts.

"Another night attack by enemy UAVs on the Kyiv region. Air defence forces were active in the area. Enemy targets were shot down. There are no casualties among the population. No hits on critical or residential infrastructure were allowed," the statement said.

The official noted that as a result of debris falling from the downed enemy targets, a house was partially destroyed and four others were damaged in one of the settlements. Windows were broken, facades and roofs were damaged in the buildings. In another settlement, a power line was damaged.

Operational groups continue working to document the aftermath of the enemy attack.
