In the morning of February 1, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kharkiv.
Enemy hits were recorded in the Kharkiv and Berestynskyi districts, according to the regional military administration.
Preliminarily, it is known that one of the missiles hit within a residential area of the Kholodnohirskyi district, causing a large-scale fire. According to the mayor of Kharkiv, emergency services are working on the scene.
Initially, one person was reported injured, later the number increased to three. One of the injured women is in critical condition. Unfortunately, there has been a report of one fatality.
As a result of the shelling, emergency power outages have been implemented in the city. Specialized services continue to clarify the extent of the destruction and consequences of the strike.
