Former commander of the 155th brigade remains in custody, — media

The Kyiv Court of Appeals has kept the commander of the 155th brigade, Dmytro Ryumshyn, in custody, whose soldiers deserted and abandoned their unit during training in France.

This was reported by "Radio Liberty".

According to the publication, a group of civilians came to support Ryumshyn in the court, demanding combat immunity for him.

Additionally, three deputies expressed their desire to take the former commander of the 155th brigade on bail in the courtroom. Notably, this initiative was proposed by Member of Parliament Lyudmyla Buymister, who currently serves in the Defence Forces.

However, the court decided not to release Ryumshyn on bail. Instead, the bail amount was reduced from 90 million hryvnias to 50 million hryvnias.
