In Kyiv and several regions, an air raid alert sounded due to the launch of Russian "Kalibr" cruise missiles from the Black Sea.
As reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the first signals of a potential strike appeared at 23:36. The military detected the movement of missiles over Ukrainian territory, and the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, urged the capital’s residents to immediately take shelter.
The air defence forces were on high alert, and updated information on the consequences of the attack is expected.
