The USA presented Ukraine with a draft agreement on natural resources. The agreement could be signed at the Munich conference.
This was reported with reference to a statement by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Thus, Zelenskyy "just announced" that he held productive and constructive negotiations with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and received the first draft of a potential agreement on natural resources.
"I know that our team has received the first draft agreement from the United States regarding a partnership between our countries. I very much want our team to study this document, and we will do everything to review and sign it as soon as possible," Zelenskyy noted.
Zelenskyy added that the agreement could be concluded at the Munich conference later this week.
"The United States is our main partner. We will make every effort to consider all the details of the document and make it to the Munich conference because we do not want to waste time," he said.
According to the president, they did not discuss natural resources on Ukrainian territory occupied by Russia.
