The President of Ukraine noted that he discussed "many important issues, including security guarantees," with the leader of France.
He emphasized the need to develop an effective strategy with the USA and Europe to bring about a just peace and sit together at the negotiation table.
"If President Trump can indeed convince President Putin to end the aggression against Ukraine, that is great news. Then only Ukrainians will be able to discuss a strong and lasting peace. We will assist them in this matter," – wrote Macron after the conversation.
