At the border with Hungary, antique items were discovered in the car of an elderly Ukrainian woman.
This was reported by Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine-Western Border.At the "Tysa" checkpoint, border guards prevented an attempt to illegally transport printed materials and kitchenware across the state border, which likely have cultural and historical value. They were discovered in the luggage of a 65-year-old Ukrainian citizen who was leaving Ukraine in her own car.
"The books, magazines, and samovar were confiscated by customs officials in accordance with established legal procedures. The historical and cultural value of the items will be determined by an appropriate expert," the report states.
