In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops have intensified their attacks. However, the enemy is detected even on the approaches to the forward edge of the Ukrainian positions.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, on a television marathon.
He noted that units of border guards from combat brigades and other border detachments are present in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Siversk, and Kramatorsk directions of the front.
"Recently, we have observed enemy activity in the Kupiansk direction, where they are attempting to carry out assault actions on our positions," the spokesperson reported.
Demchenko added that border guards use drones to detect the enemy on the approaches to the forward edge of the Ukrainian positions. SBGS fighters have artillery units and MLRS in their arsenal, which they use to destroy the enemy.
According to him, on the border with Russia within the Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions, no attempts of enemy sabotage groups’ entrance have been recorded in the recent period.
