Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on today’s statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the ceasefire.
In his evening address, he noted that the Kremlin’s responses to the proposal for a ceasefire were "very predictable" and "manipulative." According to Zelenskyy, Putin is essentially preparing to abandon the idea of a peaceful process on the front line.
These statements came after US President Donald Trump called Putin’s speeches about the ceasefire "positive".
