In Kyiv, fires led to the deaths of two people in one evening


In Kyiv, on the evening of Friday, March 21, rescuers responded to four fire calls. Unfortunately, there were tragic consequences – the fire claimed the lives of two people that day.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of the capital. The causes of the tragedies will be determined by law enforcement.

"Sad statistics for the evening of March 21. Rescuers were involved in extinguishing four fires in the residential sector in just one evening. The first call came at 18:49. An apartment on Ronald Reagan Street was on fire. The fire was extinguished at 19:27 over an area of 10 sq. m. During the extinguishing, the owner was brought out to fresh air," the press service reported.

According to rescuers, the next call came at 19:53 on Boryspilska Street. A man died as a result of a fire in an apartment. The fire was extinguished at 20:41 over an area of 10 sq. m.

Already at 20:52, the Rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire in Mashynobudivnyi Lane. In an apartment, a fire broke out in one of the rooms with the spread of flames to the balcony. The fire was extinguished at 21:03 over an area of 25 sq. m. During the extinguishing, a woman was brought out to fresh air.

Another tragic incident occurred at 21:17. A report was received about a fire in a private residential house on Bobrynetska Street. The fire was extinguished at 22:46 over an area of 30 sq. m. During the extinguishing, the homeowner, born in 1942, was rescued. Unfortunately, the body of a woman was also found.
