Ukrainian soldiers explained how they captured a wounded Russian invader

Ukrainian servicemen continue to replenish the exchange fund with prisoners of war by capturing Russian invaders. The soldiers of the 41st Separate Mechanized Brigade have once again taken a wounded Russian serviceman prisoner.

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Kherson Regional Military Administration. Thanks to the right decision, the soldier of the Russian army has a real chance to return home through an exchange.

According to a Ukrainian defender with the call sign "Behemoth," during an inspection of positions where contact with drones was lost, he and his comrades noticed a man in a Russian military uniform with a red armband on his sleeve, which led to a conversation.

"Well, and I started talking to him. Who are you? He says: I’m Stepan. Where are you going? He says: I’m going home. I ask, where is your home? He points behind us and says: there," said "Behemoth."

During the dialogue, it became known that the occupier was wounded and was the only survivor of his unit. According to the serviceman, he had been wandering for five days, so he surrendered to our warriors without resistance. The defenders delivered the prisoner to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"They brought him to our dugout, gave him tea, and some cigarettes. I said to him: Stepan, calm down, nothing will happen to you here... Then you will get home through a prisoner exchange," stressed "Behemoth."

He added that later the Russian serviceman shared a lot of valuable information with Ukrainian intelligence.
