Russians report that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have entered a village in the Belgorod region

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken control of the village of Demydivka in the Belgorod region of Russia.

Russian military Telegram channels report this, posting videos allegedly showing Russian strikes on Ukrainian forces in this locality.

It is reported that fighting is ongoing in the village, and the Russian army is trying to push the Ukrainian Armed Forces out.

Russian publications also state that Ukrainian forces attacked the village of Popivka in the Belgorod region. There are reports of fighting on the outskirts of this settlement.

Today, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced that the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been repelled.

It should be noted that reports of Ukrainian attacks in the Belgorod region of Russia have been circulated for almost a week. However, no official confirmation has been received from Ukraine.

Meanwhile, a source close to the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed to Bild that offensive actions are underway in the Belgorod region and noted that their aim is to create a buffer zone on Russian territory to prevent a planned Russian offensive on the Sumy region.
