On the night of March 26, Cherkasy region suffered Russian attacks: the enemy directed a significant number of strike drones at the region, most of which were targeted at the regional center. In Cherkasy, the attack caused a fire at an infrastructure facility.
Fragments of downed drones also damaged warehouse facilities of a private enterprise. The consequences of the night attack were reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.
According to him, Russian drones were moving towards Cherkasy region overnight. Most of them were directed at the city of Cherkasy. Air defence forces shot down 12 "Shaheds", but destruction was recorded in the regional center.
"As a result of Russian aggression, an infrastructure facility was damaged. The fire there has been extinguished. Additionally, fragments of the downed target damaged the warehouse facilities of a private enterprise. The inspection of the territory is ongoing," Taburets noted.
He also added that no one was injured in the region as a result of the enemy attack.
