Allies discuss sending two peacekeeping missions to Ukraine

The idea of creating two peacekeeping missions for Ukraine is being considered: the first will be under the aegis of the UN with the participation of military personnel from Asian and South American countries, and the second from Western countries willing to send their troops.

This was reported by the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, citing its sources.

Specifically, the UN contingent may include representatives from India, Brazil, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia (Indonesia has already denied receiving a request to deploy its peacekeepers in Ukraine). They are intended to monitor the line of contact between the two armies.

Western peacekeepers will be deployed on the border of Ukraine with the EU.

It is reported that the USA "is ready to provide support, all logistical and technological components necessary for these operations," including "air surveillance," radars, and satellites.
