The Deputy Head of the Department for Prevention and Counteraction of Corruption of the Dnipro Customs, Serhiy Borysov, declared that his wife received a cash gift amounting to 2.8 million hryvnias.
According to the declaration, the gift in cash was received from Liudmyla and Valentyn Kovtun, who are likely relatives.
In addition, the customs officer’s wife, Nadiya Borysova, owns significant real estate, including:
land plots in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv regions;
a residential house in Svyatopetrivske (worth 2.6 million UAH);
a Ford Fiesta (2005) car worth 160,000 UAH.
At the same time, Serhiy Borysov officially moves in a 2008 KIA Sorento and owns a Kolibri KM-280 inflatable boat with a Mercury engine.
In 2024, the official received 534,000 UAH in salary, as well as 1,000 UAH in state aid from the Ministry of Economy. His wife earned 1.65 million UAH at LLC "Biotekhnos" and also holds 94,500 USD in cash.
The couple keeps funds in several Ukrainian banks, as well as in the Polish Bank Polski. The balances in the accounts are not indicated in the declaration.
It is currently unknown whether the Borysovs’ financial operations have attracted the interest of anti-corruption authorities.
