Russia will be able to launch a major offensive no earlier than mid-summer, said MP Roman Kostenko, secretary of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
Thus, he commented on reports by Western media about Russia’s preparation for such an offensive in the coming weeks. According to Kostenko, the Russians «will be ready no earlier than mid or late summer».
Kostenko emphasized that the Russian Federation is forming new units and associations but is unlikely to be ready for an offensive in the near future.
