The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue active operations on Russian territory. This complicates the enemy’s advance towards the Sumy region.
This was reported from the statement of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President held a conversation with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, discussing the situation on the front and the actions of Ukrainian forces on Russian territory.
"We maintain activity that does not allow the occupier to enter the territory of Sumy region, as well as our Kharkiv region. I thank all our units for their resilience - all, from Kursk region to the southern directions," Zelenskyy explained.
The head of Ukraine also highlighted the effectiveness on the front line:
the 225th Separate Assault Regiment, the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the Special Operations Forces for their effective actions in destroying the enemy, the 35th Separate Marine Brigade for success in battles in the Pokrovsk direction."Thank you all, warriors! I thank everyone who conveys the truth to the world about what is happening in Ukraine.
