The occupiers carried out an airstrike on a house in Kupyansk: a woman was injured

On Thursday, April 17, Russian forces dropped an aerial bomb on a building in Kupyansk (Kharkiv region). A 72-year-old woman was injured. Information about other injured individuals is being clarified.

This was reported by law enforcement agencies. Under the procedural guidance of the Kupyansk District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the "war crime" (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

"According to the investigation, at approximately 16:35 on April 17, the Russian armed forces once again carried out an airstrike on the city of Kupyansk. The impact was on a nine-story residential building. The explosion also damaged at least 10 neighboring apartment buildings in this residential block," the report stated.

Preliminary findings show that the enemy used an ODAB-1500 - a thermobaric aerial bomb for the attack.

"Despite the challenging security conditions, prosecutors, together with police investigators, are taking all necessary measures to document the war crimes committed by servicemen of the Russian Federation," concluded the law enforcement agencies.
