In Kharkiv, there are already 54 injured as a result of the morning missile attack by Russia

Russian forces launched a missile attack on Kharkiv, using, according to preliminary information, three "Iskander" complex missiles.

This was reported by the city mayor Ihor Terekhov.

One of the missiles exploded near a multi-story residential building. As a result of the attack, at least 54 people were injured, including children. Unfortunately, one person died — the body of the deceased was carried out from the damaged building. During the strike, the man was in his apartment.

According to the mayor, there was no direct hit on the apartment building, but the powerful blast wave caused significant destruction.

It also became known that one of the missiles hit a local enterprise, where a fire liquidation is currently underway, reported the State Emergency Service.

Rescuers, medics, and law enforcement officers are working at the scene. The consequences of the shelling are being clarified. Authorities urge residents not to ignore air raid signals and to stay in shelters during a threat.
