Havrylyuk announced phased demobilization before resignation: replacing with contracted youth


Ivan Havrylyuk, before resigning from his position as Deputy Minister of Defence, managed to speak in the Rada and announced that the ministry plans a phased demobilization of soldiers who have been participating in combat operations since 2022.

According to him, such a mechanism is currently being developed. In particular, they will be replaced by young men aged 18-24 who have signed youth contracts.

Havrylyuk also noted that «busification is a disgraceful phenomenon, and we are making every effort to avoid it».
