On the evening of April 21, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Odesa using strike drones. As a result of the enemy attack, civilian infrastructure was affected — residential buildings, an educational institution, and transportation were damaged.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper. According to him, the strikes caused severe fires in the city. Rescuers, medics, utility services, and other emergency teams are working to eliminate the consequences.
As clarified by the Odesa city council, the strike hit a densely populated area of the city — residential high-rise buildings are burning there, and many apartments have suffered serious damage. Residents are in a state of shock.
According to preliminary data, at least three people were injured. Medics are providing necessary assistance to all the victims.
The city authorities have already released photos of the aftermath of the attack. The information regarding the number of injured and the extent of the destruction is being clarified.
