At the UN, aid was reduced for Ukrainians evacuated from frontline areas

It is reported that the UN refugee agency has reduced support for Ukrainians evacuated from front-line regions, Reuters reports.

The reason cited is the suspension of aid from the United States, which accounted for 40% of the budget, as well as a decrease in funding from other donors.

Of the required $3.32 billion to assist 8.2 million Ukrainians, only 25% has been raised. Specifically, emergency financial assistance and psychosocial support have been reduced.
