Students aged 25+ to be deprived of deferments from mobilization: a law is being prepared in Ukraine

Some vocational school students may have their deferment from mobilization canceled. Deputy Minister of Education Mykhailo Vynnytskyi reported that the corresponding draft law is already being developed.

Amendments to the law will affect men over 25 years old who plan to receive a second vocational education.

This concerns students who have a diploma not included in the electronic database due to the age of its issuance. They claim the loss of such a diploma and re-enter vocational schools, thereby obtaining deferment.

To eliminate this scheme, changes to the mobilization law are being developed, explained Vynnytskyi.
