Zelenskyy rejected Putin’s idea of a three-day truce: demands at least 30 days

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy criticized Vladimir Putin’s proposal for a three-day truce in May, calling it manipulation.

“Another attempt at manipulation: for some reason, everyone should wait until May 8 and only then cease fire to ensure silence for Putin’s parade. There is no reason to wait. The ceasefire should be immediate, complete, and unconditional — and not for a few days, but for at least 30 days,” Zelenskyy said.
