Servicemen of three units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, operating in the Pokrovsk area and in the south, told Suspilne that they had been instructed to open fire only in response.
Similar instructions were received by Ukrainian servicemen during the Easter truce announced by Putin.
At the same time, the Ukrainian command does not officially confirm the existence of such an order but notes a decrease in the intensity of hostilities.
The Russian army has stopped assaults in some areas, as stated by the representative of the "Khortytsia" group Trehubov, but not everywhere. According to him, after midnight, Russian attacks continued in the Lyman direction, in Vovchansk, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, near Pokrovsk, and in the direction of Novopavlivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
