Within the framework of the approved action plan of the President of Ukraine, Bring Kids Back UA, a 15-year-old boy was successfully returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories to his father.
This was reported in Telegram by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.
According to Lubinets, the boy lived with his mother in the TOT (temporarily occupied territory) of Ukraine. After her death due to illness in 2022, he continued to live with his aunt, grandmother, and grandfather. However, the boy dreamed of returning to his father in the territory controlled by Ukraine.
“That’s why the boy’s father contacted the Ombudsman’s Office. Our team assisted in bringing the boy back and supported the father until the child returned,” the Ombudsman reported.
