IAEA Chief Grossi arrived in Ukraine


On Tuesday, June 3, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, arrived in Ukraine. He has already held a meeting with the Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko.

He reported this on X.

Began my 12th visit to Ukraine since February 2022, reaffirming IAEA’s support for the country," - noted in Grossi’s post.

According to him, he discussed with Minister Halushchenko how the Agency can assist Ukraine in rebuilding its energy infrastructure, which includes new units at the Khmelnytskyi NPP, Chornobyl NPP repairs, and substation assessments.
