SAPO asks to confiscate the land of a former district council deputy in Rivne region

The SAPO requests to confiscate assets worth 5.6 million UAH belonging to a former head of a district council in the Rivne region.

A SAPO prosecutor has filed a lawsuit to declare assets owned by a deputy of one of the district councils in the Rivne region as unjustified.

According to our information, this refers to the former deputy of the Mlyniv district council in the Rivne region, Volodymyr Tutevych. He represented the party "VO Svoboda."

The lawsuit was prepared based on materials from the NACP and the SBI.

According to the SAPO, while in office, the official acquired ownership of 5 land plots in the Kyiv region.

However, neither he nor his relatives could have done this with legitimate income.

In connection with this, the SAPO turned to the HACC with a lawsuit to declare the assets unjustified and to seize them in favor of the state.

The court has already granted the motion to seize the property.

The lawsuit was filed within the framework of the civil confiscation mechanism introduced on the initiative of the CPC.

Meanwhile, a number of deputies from the "Servant of the People" and the banned OPFL are attempting to significantly narrow the possibility of confiscating officials’ property under this mechanism.
