Russian military forces are currently advancing from the east of the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration.
This was reported by the spokesperson for the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, during the national telethon.
According to him, the invaders are actively advancing with large forces towards the "Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka" highway, which runs to the east of Pokrovsk.
"This gives them two potential opportunities: the first is to try to bypass Pokrovsk from the eastern side of the agglomeration, and the second is to move towards Kostyantynivka and attempt to encircle it from the west. Each of these scenarios poses a threat. Any of these strategies may provide them with operational advantages, so we need to prevent the possibility of such a breakthrough," Trehubov noted.
