Commander of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Magura" Oleksandr Shyrshyn stated that Ukraine must change its approach from quantitative to qualitative if it seeks victory.
He said this in an interview with the project Svoboda Live.
"For me, it was important that we at least start achieving certain changes. If we want to achieve results, if we want victory, we need to change our approaches from quantitative to qualitative. Unfortunately, we have chosen a tactic similar to the Russian army, and we are trying to surpass them with quantitative indicators of infantry, means, pressure. But we do not have as many resources, and accordingly, these changes are not happening yet," he said.
When asked if he fears punishment for criticizing the command, Shyrshyn replied: "What should I fear when I have been at war for so many years."
