Zelenskyy commented on Russia’s proposal for new negotiations in Istanbul

Russia will drag out the negotiations in Istanbul, particularly to delay sanctions. Ukraine, on the other hand, finds itself in a difficult situation of choice.

This became known from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement during a conversation with journalists.

The head of state commented on the likelihood of a Ukrainian delegation’s visit to Istanbul after June 22.

"Russians will definitely drag out Istanbul — to delay sanctions and so on. And we will truly be in a difficult situation of choice — to continue like this or choose a different path," said Zelenskyy.
