On Wednesday, June 25, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, visited Strasbourg. There he will join the European Council meeting.
Zelenskyy was met in Strasbourg with applause, words of gratitude, and the anthem of Ukraine.“Glory to Ukraine. I feel like I am at home,” were the words Zelenskyy used to begin his speech before the representatives of the member countries’ parliaments of PACE. In response, he heard a loud “Glory to the Heroes!” Additionally, the President of Ukraine was welcomed with loud applause that lasted for several minutes.
