In Hungary, a bus with Ukrainian children got into an accident: 19 injured


Today, on July 6, 2025, around 5 a.m., a bus carrying Ukrainian children went off the road and overturned under unknown circumstances on highway 442 between Kunszentmárton and Tiszaföldvár (Hungary).

This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary.

According to Hungarian emergency services, rescue operations are ongoing at the scene.

Ambassador Fedir Shandor and Ukrainian consuls are at the scene to provide prompt assistance to Ukrainian citizens.

Of the 77 people on the bus, 19 were injured, including 4 with serious injuries, and there were no fatalities.

The injured have been taken to hospitals in the cities of Szolnok, Kecskemét, and Szentes.

The other passengers are currently at the House of Culture in Kunszentmárton. With the cooperation of local authorities, they have been provided with temporary accommodation and breakfast.
