On the night of July 10, 2025, during a Russian attack on Kyiv, the office of "5 Channel" was damaged.
This was reported by the press service of the channel.
It is reported that the employees who were in the building during the night shift were not injured. However, part of the studio was destroyed, and filming equipment and workplaces were damaged.
As a result of the shelling, the channel cannot promptly resume broadcasting — neither on television nor on YouTube.
“Restoration work is ongoing, and we hope for the quickest possible return to work,” noted the editorial team.

“The enemy wants to destroy everything Ukrainian. Support the Defence Forces, each other, and remember — today we are all fighting for the right to exist,” added the statement.
