On Friday, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation conducted searches at the former head of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov, in the case of alleged fraudulent activities by Member of Parliament Yevhen Shevchenko.
This was reported by a source from law enforcement agencies to "Ukrainska Pravda."
According to the source, on the morning of July 11, SBI investigators conducted searches at the former Minister of Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov. The investigative actions are being carried out as part of the investigation into possible fraud by MP Yevhen Shevchenko, who had previously been charged with two counts of treason.
According to the source, Shevchenko fraudulently extracted 14.5 million UAH from entrepreneurs, allegedly for the purchase of fertilizers in Belarus. The former Minister of Infrastructure may have assisted him in carrying out this plan.
Kubrakov is a whistleblower in the case concerning Vice Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov.
