The air defence forces destroyed 319 Russian Shahed-type drones and 25 X-101 cruise missiles.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram.
From 18:00 on Friday, July 11, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 623 air attack means:
597 strike UAVs of the Shahed-type and decoy drones of various types from the directions of Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Orel, and Millerovo (339 Shahed-type drones);
26 X-101 cruise missiles from the airspace of the Saratov region.
The air attack was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 10:00 on Saturday, July 12, the air defense destroyed 344 air attack means:
319 Shahed-type UAVs; 25 X-101 cruise missiles.Additionally, 258 decoy drones were lost/neutralized by electronic warfare.
One missile and 20 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 5 locations, and shot-down debris fell in 19 locations.
