In Mariupol, the occupiers have begun clearing the maritime area, presumably for the passage of large vessels or for military purposes.
This was reported by the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petro Andryushchenko.
"In Mariupol, they have actively started clearing the fairway. Preparations are underway. Considering that there is a lot of old waste from metallurgical production at the coal docks, they are likely preparing a channel for the passage of large deadweight vessels," Andryushchenko wrote on Telegram.
Additionally, he does not rule out that the clearing of the fairway may be related to military navigation.
"On the other hand, considering the start of military navigation, other options are also possible. For now, we are observing," emphasized the head of the center.
