Latvia has sent Ukraine a new batch of domestically produced drones


Latvia has delivered a new batch of weapons to Ukraine for the Armed Forces. The batch includes 1,300 drones, specifically manufactured at the request of Ukrainian military personnel.

This was reported with reference to a statement by Latvian Defence Minister Andris Spruds in X (Twitter).

"The next 1,300 drones produced in Latvia are already on their way to Ukraine. Following this delivery, a total of 12,000 drones valued at over 17 million euros will have been provided to Ukrainians this year," the minister noted in the statement.
