Starlink has resumed operations after a major outage that lasted 2.5 hours

Elon Musk’s company reported fixing an internal software glitch that caused the Starlink satellite internet to be unavailable for 2.5 hours.

The outage occurred not only in Ukraine but worldwide.

Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems, Robert Brovdi, confirmed that the connection was restored around one o’clock in the morning. According to him, Starlink was down for "a long time in war terms, 150 minutes."

Brovdi also noted that this outage revealed "bottlenecks" in the communication system, and therefore, diversifying communication channels is necessary to ensure stability during combat operations.
