Syrskyi: The Russians have intensified offensive actions in the Kamyanske area

In the Zaporizhzhya direction, there are fewer combat engagements, but the invaders have increased their activity, using guided aerial bombs, artillery, attack drones, and small assault groups in the area of Kamyanske.

This was reported on Facebook by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

He noted that he is keeping a close watch on the situation in the critical directions of the front. One of them is Zaporizhzhya.

“There are comparatively fewer combat engagements here than in other areas, but the enemy is intensifying offensive actions in the area of the settlement of Kamyanske,” Syrskyi emphasized.

According to him, the enemy is actively using guided aerial bombs, artillery, attack drones, and small assault groups there.

In connection with the enemy’s activation, the Commander-in-Chief worked with the units defending in Zaporizhzhya. He listened to the commanders’ reports on combat operations, existing needs, and current issues. He issued appropriate orders to address them.

The plans of the Russian invaders are known, and the command is taking measures to improve the interaction of military units and strengthen the units to ensure the resilience of the defence and prevent the enemy from getting closer to Zaporizhzhya.

Syrskyi thanked the defenders who courageously withstand the attack and destroy the Russian aggressor. Ukrainian Zaporizhzhya stands on your shoulders, Ukraine stands.
