Oleksiy Chernyshov is suspected of abuse of office and receiving undue benefits in particularly large amounts for himself and third parties.
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court on August 7 upheld the preventive measure applied to former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov. This was reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office on Thursday.
A preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of 120 million UAH with the imposition of corresponding procedural obligations was applied to the suspect on June 27, including:
appearing at every demand of the detective, prosecutor, or court; notifying the investigator, prosecutor, or court about any change of residence and/or workplace; not leaving the territory of Ukraine without the permission of the investigator, prosecutor, or court; refraining from communicating with other suspects and witnesses.As stated by the CPC, the decision was made by judges Oleh Pavlyshyn, Danyil Chorneyko, and Andriy Nykyforov.
The duration of the obligations is until August 27.
