Over the past day, the Russian Armed Forces have lost 940 soldiers on the front, as well as various military equipment, including tanks and air defence systems.
This is reported with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to August 9, 2025, are approximately:
personnel - about 1,062,290 (+940) individuals; tanks - 11,088 (+5) units; armored combat vehicles - 23,103 (+1) units; artillery systems - 31,273 (+41) units; MLRS - 1,456 (+0) units; air defence equipment - 1,204 (+1) units; aircraft - 421 (+0) units; helicopters - 340 (+0) units; operational-tactical level UAVs - 50,315 (+147) units; cruise missiles - 3,555 (+0) units; ships/boats - 28 (+0) units; submarines - 1 (+0) unit; automotive equipment and fuel tanks - 57,856 (+125) units; special equipment - 3,936 (+0) units.
