In the evening of August 16, Sloviansk suffered two enemy attacks with the help of "Italmas" drones.
This became known from a statement by the head of the Slovyansk City Military Administration, Vadym Lyakh.
The first strike was delivered by the occupiers at about 18:15. It hit the railway district, where a woman was injured and houses in the private sector were damaged.
The second occurred at 19:30 in the Lymany district. This strike also affected residential buildings.

According to the head of the CMA, in both cases, Russian military used "Italmas" drones.
The city continues to hold the defence and urges residents to be cautious.
"Take care of yourselves. We are holding on. We’re together!" Lyakh emphasized.
