The USA is not forcing Ukraine to surrender all territories occupied by Russia. A future peace agreement will not involve such concessions.
This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
During an interview with NBC, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented on possible scenarios for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia.
Journalists asked whether the issue of transferring control of all of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, and Crimea to the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had been discussed.
Rubio replied that Ukrainians are not ready for such concessions, and no one has the right to force them to concede.
According to him, even if a peace agreement is reached, it will not involve the transfer of these territories.
"Ukrainians are not ready to give this up, and no one is forcing Ukraine to concede... If a peace agreement is reached, it will not be like that," he said.
