In Mukachevo, the extinguishing of a large-scale fire continues after a Russian attack


In Mukachevo, rescuers are in their second day of extinguishing a large-scale fire that broke out following a Russian attack on August 21. As a result of the attack, 21 people were injured.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to the rescuers, as of 07:40, the fire extinguishing in Mukachevo, which resulted from a Russian attack on August 21, is ongoing.

"54 rescuers and 15 units of equipment are involved in firefighting and dealing with the aftermath. Additionally, 2 firefighting trains of ’Ukrzaliznytsia’ are operating," added the service.

According to the State Emergency Service employees, as a result of the incident, 21 people were injured.
