The total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to August 23, 2025, amount to approximately 1,075,160 personnel, with 840 of them lost in the past day.
This is stated in the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Additionally, the Russian army has lost 11,129 (+5) tanks, armored combat vehicles – 23,164 (+4), artillery systems – 31,858 (+23), MLRS – 1,472 (+0), air defence systems – 1,210 (+0), aircraft – 422 (+0), helicopters – 340 (+0), operational-tactical UAVs – 52,935 (+148), cruise missiles – 3,598 (+0), ships/boats – 28 (+0), submarines – 1 (+0), automotive equipment and fuel tanks – 59,512 (+86), special equipment – 3,944 (+0).
