Voloshyn: The RF is regrouping its forces in the Zaporizhzhya direction

Russian troops are regrouping their forces in the Zaporizhzhya direction with the aim of conducting assault operations. Although the number of attacks on this section of the front has decreased, shelling has increased.

This was reported today, August 22, to Suspilne correspondents by the spokesperson for the Southern Defence Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.

According to Vladyslav Voloshyn, Russian troops are currently actively regrouping their forces by accumulating assault units and moving the personnel of these units to forward positions:

"To resume active assault actions and try to further advance with the aim of taking control of the Zaporizhzhya region. However, the Defence Forces are also conducting search-strike and restorative actions. In particular, in the settlements of Plavni, Kamyanske."
